Birth Plan Preparation

We will schedule a time to meet together to discuss what kind of birth you would like to have. I'll go over each step of the process so you'll know what to expect and can prepare some decisions ahead of time. I'll explain any and all procedures (including risks/benefits) and options available to you and provide you with evidence-based information so that you can make informed decisions when and if they become necessary. This appointment usually takes about 2 hours. After our meeting I will compile all of the things we discussed into a single page document that you can share with your healthcare provider.
