Birth Support

Birth support includes prenatal, labor, delivery, and post partum support.

We will prepare a birth plan together and I will be available to you throughout your pregnancy to discuss any concerns or questions you might have.

Once labor begins I will be there by your side the whole time! I provide continuous labor support, including emotional support and natural pain relief during all the different stages of labor. I have training in different positions and techniques to ease labor discomfort and to support you and your partner during labor

I will stay with you until an hour or so after your baby is born to help you settle in and to establish breastfeeding. We will schedule two postpartum visits, one a few days after delivery, and another a week or so after that, depending on your needs and comfort level. I will be available to answer any questions you might have and to share with you appropriate materials and community resources as needed.

*I desire for every woman who wants a doula to have a doula present for her labor and delivery. If cost is prohibitive to you, please reach out to me and we will work something out.
